Seattle Compassion Services was formed in Washington on February 15, 2019. Our mission is to house 100 people experiencing homelessness per year. Our vision is to end the King County homelessness state of emergency. An emergency was declared in 2015. At that time there were 10,000 people experiencing homelessness in King County. It is estimated as of 2023 there are 50,000 people experiencing homelessness in King County.
This is what we want to do.
Empower people experiencing homelessness in North Seattle, aid in securing permanent housing, building meaningful relationships, and investing in community waste removal projects.
This is what we care about.
Social services provided for the benefit of the community, such as education, medical care, and housing.
Why we think you should care?
We have a moral obligation to maintain a standard of living, a standard of cleanliness of our community.
Why you should want to help?
There is a better future possible for us. I believe we can reach that ideal for our communities.
Our Accomplishments:
- Helped secure housing for 7 people experiencing homelessness
- Helped serve 9,000 hot meals at Fremont Baptist Church
- Invested $12,000 in waste removal services at homeless encampments
We love our community. Have a blessed day from Seattle Compassion Services.
