Hi, we are Seattle Compassion Services, a 501(c)(3) charity established February 15, 2019
(EIN 83-3667138). Seattle Compassion is founded by brother Eric and sister Christina Duechle, and lifted up by cheery volunteers and the homelessness providers of King County.
Our mission is to house 2,000 King County homeless in six years. Our vision is to bring the King County homeless count below the 2015 threshold, when the state of emergency was declared and the homeless count swelled to more than 10,000 living on the streets.
Our services include case management, hot meals, resource tables, encampment cleanups, and partnering with Seattle and King County officials to best serve the needs of the homeless. We are proud to say, since COVID-19 began we have helped serve over 4,100 meals through Fremont Community Dinners, and provided over 82 resource table stations with food, water, clothes and hygiene products, and housed 6 previously homeless individuals.
The money you donate will go to case management services, acts of kindness and need, weekly meals, necessities (like phone cards, shoes, etc.), and community cleanup projects. With a $30 donation, we can buy a sleeping bag for someone sleeping on the street. Your donation will help provide critical, life-saving resources.
We would love it if you could donate, volunteer, or share this effort! Seattle Compassion Services pledges to utilize funds to combat the homeless state of emergency in King County, and elevate the station of homeless in our community.
