Seattle Compassion Services was formed in response to the homelessness state of emergency declared in King County. Our vision is to bring compassion to the homelessness solution in Seattle. Our mission is to empower the homeless to maintain housing.
Seattle Compassion Services is a 501c(3) non-for-profit corporation established February 14, 2019. EIN 83-3667138.
This is what we want to do.
Empower the homeless to maintain housing by building meaningful relationships and investing in community waste removal projects.
This is what we care about.
Homeless securing the shelter they need to thrive. A community empowered to create solutions. Love, connection, and service.
Why we think you should care? Law and order are at risk. Homelessness continues to escalate in our city, and we have a moral obligation to intervene.
Why you should want to help? This city needs your help.
Through the help of our partners:
- We have helped house and support 7 previously homeless individuals.
- Sustained weekly community dinners at the Fremont Baptist Church. Helping to serve 8300 hot meals with our partner Two Bridges Church.
- Invested in waste removal services at homeless encampments through dumpsters, latrines and community litter picks.
